IF YOU’RE THE KIND OF PERSON WHO MADE IT THIS FAR WITHOUT KNOWING HOW AWESOME COSTA RICA IS THEN YOU BETTER CATCH UP AND LIKE… NOW.
Besides being AMAZING, Costa Rica is easily accessible to the United States and Canada, but foreign enough to feel exotic. It rests between two continents and two oceans, and it links North and South Americas.
Costa Ricans are known as Ticos and they are seriously some of the nicest people on the planet – friendly, welcoming… you can’t even drive down the road without perfect strangers waving at you.

We’re living large in the unspoiled southwestern region of the country in secluded mountains midway between San Isidro and the beach town Dominical where we set up our kick ass flying trapeze school.
From our retreat center you can find us sipping fresh coconut juice while lying in hammocks overlooking Manuel Antonio National Park and the Pacific ocean in the distance, a magnificent valley, jungle, lush tropical rainforests, waterfalls, toucans, the works. Seriously, I’m not lying. We have to shake each other every morning to assure ourselves that this is real.

As the most ecologically diverse country in Central America, Costa Rica accounts for only about 0.25% of world’s landmass, but it has almost 5% of the world’s biodiversity - the largest population of plant and animal species outside of the Amazon, including toucans, monkeys, sloths, parrots, turtles, crocodiles, frogs, jaguars, and ocelots to name just a few. Much of the country is protected National Parks, wildlife refuges and nature reserves. Basically expect nature to WOW you at every turn.
And for you peaceniks, Costa Rica is unique in Central America for having the longest uninterrupted democracy, and no standing army in more than 50 years. It is a country known for its love of world peace, environmental and ecological preservation, excellent health care with a health system rating better internationally than in the U.S., and a high standard of education with a 95% literacy rate.Costa Ricans live by the expression, “Pura Vida,” which means Pure Life. Ticos use it as a greeting and a way of life here. Join us for a week of Pura Vida.
